WHOA!!! For real The Cranberries will be having a concert in the Philippines!!!

And because I'm such a sucker on this long-awaited concert I joined an online raffle. Yes oh yes, they will be giving away 2 tickets of the concerts - FOR FREE!!! I have my fingers crossed - hope to win!

Yes, as for those who will be wondering on how will I be there in the concert in Manila when I am here in Davao. By some twist of fate, I have a scheduled vacation on April 9th to 11th in Manila. Just my luck eh?

Not yet, I must have those free tickets first and then I'll practice my puppy eyes so parents will permit me to go. If not, I'll practice my ninja moves to climb up on the gate for escape *wink*

PHL to US to Korea

So I've been sick lately. I don't usually get sick but since its one of the trending things at our workplace so I jumped in and boarded the boat of sick people.

Kapag tinatanong ako kung kumusta naman ang pakiramdam ko, sinasagot ko ng..."May ubo+sipon+sore throat+lagnat kaya equals burol!". Burol as in wake in english at lamay in bisaya. Pakyawan kasi ako kung magkasakit at since tinitipid ko ang mga leave of absences ko, pinili ko pa ring pumasok sa trabaho.

Wednesday this week, may project call ako with our US mirror. Patay! Garalgal masyado ang boses ko kaya di ako sure kung magkakaintindihan kami. Kaya before the call sinabihan ko na sya na I'm not feeling well and I might not be contributing much in the call - more of a listener na lang muna ako. At nang magsimula na ang skype call, he greeted with "Good Morning!". Eh hindi naman to kaparehas ng nanonood ka ng DVD na pwede kang magdisplay ng subtitle at hindi rin naman polite na wala akong isasagot. For awhile naging dead-air, alam ko na hinihintay nya akong magsalita at nakahanda na ang tawa nya. "Good evening Abhishek!", sabi ko. Yun na! Natawa na sya. Bakit? Kasi boses-lalaki ako nang dahil sa sore throat na yan! Hahaha.

Anyway highway skyway by-the-way okay! I'm so stubborn pa naman when it comes to taking care of myself and taking medicines. Medyo may bahid ako ng pagka-lukaret eh. No to hospitals and no medications as much as possible --- gastos lang!!! Kaya kung anu-anong gamot ang nainom ko this week. From bioflu to alvedon to decolgen. Na-confuse din yata ang sakit ko kaya naisipan nyang huwag na lang magtagal sa system ko.  Hooray! I'm much better on the 2nd day kaya gora na!

Maisingit ko nga si boylet saglit. Naglambing ako nung Wednesday na gusto ko ng mainit na sabaw para sa lagnat. Actually gusto ko lang kumain!!! Mission accomplished kasi nilibre nga ako ng dinner at wish granted sa seafood sinigang. Yum yum yum. Kahapon naman, Thursday, pinakain ulit ako ng paborito kong California Maki. Sino naman ang hindi gagaling sa sakit kung ganito ang pag-aalaga?! Hahaha e-chos!

Napapagalitan din ako lately ni other-half because of my late night habits. Pinapatulog ako ng maaga since may sakit nga daw ako. Uulitin ko...I am stubborn. Sinasagot ko sya ng "Ayaw! I'm not yet sleepy at manonood pa ako ng TV". Guess what, nag super-sayan sya sa inis. Hahaha. Kasi naman I'm so hooked to this Koreanovela na DONG YI. Maganda yung kwento at natutuwa ako sa characters. Kaya hindi pwedeng ma-miss ko ang episode every night kahit pa 10:30PM-past 11:00PM ito pinapalabas. Sinusubaybayan talaga namin ng kapatid ko na si Clinton ang palabas na'to. Sa totoo lang, eto lang ang pinapanood ko sa TV on weekdays. Malamang gagawa ako ng blog entry about Dong Yi one of these days...let's see.

Last Sunday, I joined a Night Run for the Clean Samal Campaign of our local government. I was captivated by the event because of the people that I am going to experience it with. By the way it's my 7th fun run by count.

The farthest distance I completed was a 5K marathon. Later on I realize that I should decrease the distance wherein my body is more comfortable with - of which I can truly consider as a fun run and not a pain run. So this time, we registered for a 3K run.

While internet connection at work isn't stable, I was doing a clean-up of my laptop files. And then poof!!! I saw old pictures I took from the new year wishlist board of a nearby Mall from our office.

I find it hilarious!  Seriously?! Posting those on a public place is such a gutsy move. There's no intention of being rude here, I am a QA by profession so checking for errors is a natural thing for me. So spot the NOTs yourself.
