Part of our May 1, 2015 adventure was the snorkeling and Taclobo-Watching in Adecor, Samal Island. Taclobo is a local term for Giant Clams. And as promised, here's the separate post.

After the experience, I fell in love. I am not a good swimmer, I can just float for about 1-2 minutes but that didn't stop me and my friends. After witnessing the magnificent world under the sea I think I'll be having more snorkeling activities from now on. It is a must-try experience and I am glad I have brushed it off from my list - things to do before turning 30 list.

Here are some of the almost a thousand pictures that are still not enough to capture the beauty of the sea - I am just lost for words.

The best way to welcome summer is going to the BEACH.

Of course, I can't get enough of a "beach life" since I live in a beach! How cool is that right?!

And so on the 1st of May we went on as planned --- check off some boxes from our checklist.

Riding the "habal-habal"

Since it rained the night before, the road is so muddy that we have to take a trek.

 

First Destination: Taclobo Tours in Adecor, Samal Island. 

We went snorkeling.

Boat Rental P500 for 2 hours and P100/head for the snorkeling w/ assigned marine biologist guide

Second Destination: Samal Beach Park

Entrance Fee: P10.00

Third Destination: Sabang Cliff Jumping in Kaputian, Samal

40 feet drop to the deep blue water

No Entrance Fee. All you need is a bag full of COURAGE. Haha!

into the wilderness

Post-summer last year, the family went to Eden Nature Park & Resort.

It felt good to take a time off from the usual schedules and go on a vacation with the family. And one of the best place to take a vacation is somewhere you can relax - away from the noise and fast-phased city life, enjoy tranquility, breath fresh air and wake up to a beautiful scenery.
